Student Athletic Training Program
At ETHS, our Student Athletic Trainers play a vital role in supporting Wildkit Athletics. SATs assist our certified athletic trainers with the daily operations of the Athletic Training Room and get hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that builds real-world skills. They work closely with athletes and coaches to provide support during practices and games, set up equipment, and ensure our teams have what they need to perform at their best.
From taping ankles and administering first aid to helping with injury prevention and rehab, SATs are trusted members of our sports medicine team. This is a unique opportunity to learn valuable skills, contribute to the success of our teams, and be part of a close-knit, supportive group of students and staff. SATs receive training and guidance in:
-
Taping & bracing
-
Basic first aid & emergency care
-
Sports coverage & sideline assistance
-
Rehabilitation exercise instruction
-
Professionalism, communication & leadership
