Student Athlete Advisory Committee
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is the leadership group of ETHS Athletics, giving student-athletes a platform to make their voices heard and shape the future of Wildkit sports. Members are nominated and selected based on leadership qualities, commitment, and character.
SAAC members take on meaningful leadership roles by designing and leading capstone projects that strengthen the student-athlete experience, build community, and create a lasting legacy at ETHS.
Through their work, SAAC members grow as leaders while ensuring that every student-athlete has the tools, support, and opportunities to thrive.
SAAC members work across six focus areas to strengthen and uplift the Wildkit athletic experience for all:
-
Social Media & Digital Creation
-
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
-
Community Engagement & Outreach
-
Grow Your Sport
-
Student-Athlete Wellness
SAAC Meetings & Membership
Members meet monthly, typically on the first or second Wednesday from 7:30am-8:15am, to share ideas, plan initiatives, and build community.
SAAC members are expected to:
- Be Present: Attend monthly meetings and be an active team member.
- Lead a Project: Collaborate on a capstone project that addresses a real need or opportunity in ETHS Athletics.
- Make an Impact: Represent student-athletes, serve the ETHS community, and lead by example.
If you're ready to lead with purpose, support your peers, and leave a lasting legacy in Wildkit athletics, we encourage you to apply.
Capstone Projects
Every SAAC member works on a capstone project aligned with one of the six focus areas. These projects are designed to move ETHS Athletics forward—and are brought to life with support from the Wildkit Athletic Collective (WAC).
If you're ready to lead, serve, and leave a legacy, apply today and be part of something bigger than yourself.
