Official Student Section of Wildkit Athletics
The Kit Pit is the official student section of the Evanston Township High School Wildkits. Known for its loud, creative, and passionate support, it has earned national recognition and is considered one of the largest and most intimidating student sections in Illinois. Whether packing Beardsley Gym or filling the stands at Lazier Field, the Kit Pit creates a sea of orange and blue and a game day atmosphere like none other. We’re the student section that teams want to play for—and that our opponents don't forget.
How to Join the Kit Pit
The Kit Pit is open to all ETHS students! Bring your Student ID for discounted admission to regular-season home games and head to the student section seating area. No sign-up is required. Just come ready to support our teams, represent ETHS, and bring the energy.

Being in the Kit Pit means you’re not just a fan—you’re part of the experience. Your energy can fuel the team, shift momentum, and make ETHS feel like home court or home field advantage. But with that power comes responsibility.
Here’s how we do it right, at home and away:
- Cheer loud, stay positive, and support your classmates on the field.
- Respect the officials, opponents, and everyone who makes the game possible.
- No trash talk, no targeting individuals, no chants or signs that cross the line.
- Follow school rules and expectations outlined in the ETHS Student Handbook.
